What Does a Care Worker Do?

A care worker provides practical, personal, social and emotional support to help people live safely and independently in their own homes.

You will get to know each person and work with them, their family and other professionals to provide support that reflects their assessed needs, preferences, lifestyle and goals.

Your responsibilities may include personal care, medication support, meal preparation, companionship, mobility support, household tasks and helping people access their local community.

You will respect each person's dignity, independence, cultural background, beliefs and individual choices at all times.

Our experienced team members are the core of all we do, and we want to make sure they are supported and appreciated.

We provide wellbeing initiatives and professional development opportunities, helping our carers succeed in their careers while feeling purposeful and fulfilled.
